Frankly, I don’t know why anyone would want to stay married to one of the two major parties that own Washington D.C.
It seems to me that the people in this wonderful country want to exit Iraq quickly. Yet, all we get is rhetoric, especially from the Republican thugs but also from many Democratic fence sitters. These creeps have hijacked us into a useless, vile battle for money and oil in the sand countries.
Bush says he is “The Decider”. No matter what 70% of the U.S. public says, he will decide for us based on his own phreaky whims. A while back he announced that he is the “War President”. What does that mean, exactly? Does he like to play war? Is this some childhood fantasy he has carried through into his adult years? It is like when his father gave him the Texas Rangers to play with. Lest we forget, he did not handle that fantasy too well either.
So, why can’t we throw the idiot out? My really smart wife says that Congress needs 66% of the votes to change the powers they gave Bush after 911. You can watch the creeps on CSpan every day now talking about how much money will be needed to continue the capture of the oil wells. The Democrats who try to appear humanistic, at least, are asking how many more soldiers will be needed as fodder to keep the rich people in the SUVs and Hummers.
Meanwhile, there have been 3,354 coalition deaths — 3,100 Americans, two Australians, 131 Britons, 13 Bulgarians, six Danes, two Dutch, two Estonians, one Fijian, one Hungarian, 32 Italians, one Kazakh, three Latvian, 18 Poles, two Romanians, five Salvadoran, four Slovaks, 11 Spaniards, two Thai and 18 Ukrainians — in the war in Iraq as of February 6, 2007, according to a CNN count.
Will you continue to vote for these thugs in Washington? Why? Do you think they will listen? Do you think they are concerned about you? Do you think they care a whit about anything other than keeping their ass cushions in the velveted halls of Congress?
If they did really care they would be making a whole lot more noise and commotion there. I bet they watched the Super Bowl in the comfort of their million dollar homes.
Wait, I know. You are happy they gave us a higher minimum wage! Woot! $7.50 per hour. I think shoe-shiners make more than that. I think people who shine shoes, by the by, are more valuable than the people who discuss how to run our lives.
Vote for the Green Party or the Libertarians or any other party in 2008. Tell the thugs in Washington D.C. we’ve had it up to our lower lips and we’re not going to take it any more.
